We've had a couple of recent threads on Ashbourne.  This is a course long thought to be designed by Franck Meehan, but it is also a Willie Park. 

Francis Warner headed the firm that did the construction, but it also sounds like he might have had his hand in some of the architectural changes needed during construction. 

Currently Ashbourne is just sitting there rotting.  :(  Talk about a course that would be neat for GCA to buy and run!  ;)

Joe,

Just a slight correction.

The course was long thought to have been a Franklin Meehan design.   Meehan worked in conjunction with Warner's company and they later designed some courses together, such as Paxon Hollow, but you already know all that.  ;)

So when will the fund raising campaign start for the GCA limited partnership that will be buying Ashbourne?
