Mark B's "recent" thread re: RM (Composite) and the contributions therein are a classic example of why I enjoy the GCA discussion group.

I also just have to visit Painswick next time I'm visiting family in the UK. Can't say I "appreciate it more" as I obviously haven't seen it  first hand - but the photo's and text of it in here have led me to do something I never would have contemplated otherwise.

It's still amazing that so many people outside of Chicago know and site the Jans.

What: You proposed to your current wife?  You voluntarily paid taxes?  You bought a Prius?  You voted in the general election?  You bought a porno mag?  What?

I am still enrolled (as a matriculating student) in the Rihc Goodale School of Fine Architecture Appreciation.  Revisiting Painswick until I admit that it is the greatest course this side of the Channel (Rihc hasn't decided which channel) is a graduation requirement.  I Only ask that it be in the summer months and and on a fine day!  BTW - playing sandies at Painswick is a mandatory bet.

I think every round of golf is a little richer because of GCA. However Painswick and Lawsonia would never have seen my smiling face without GCA.
