That didn't take long.  It really is fun stretch of holes and a fun course in general.  Its a shame most people won't play it as it doesn't have the allure of the big name courses in Ireland.  We played it between TEC and RCD and it made for a great little break.  Also a very nice hotel.

Justin, did you deliberately choose it over Druids Glen next door?

Probably a wise choice all the same...

Ally,   In all honestly we were staying in Dublin and I needed to stay in a nice hotel with big rooms for a night.  I had never heard anything really good about the Glen and figured I would give the heath a try.  We also played Carton House Monty for a break from the big names and had a great time.

I think Tommy is giving us another great 3 hole stretch Justin... It's a good idea for a photo thread...

(Not enough people to comment on Druids Heath only)

Warning threadjack!

I've not played Druids Heath, but that has to be the archetypal Pat Ruddy Par 4.  Pinch the fairway at the driving area and then force an aerial shot to a raised green by placing a pot bunker in the face of the rise. I think par 3’s and 5s inspire him more.  He calls the latter the most difficult to ‘find on a links course.

Whoops - see next post :-[

Right, I did post another three holes stretch.   I misunderstood the the original intent of the thread.  I would think many on this board can guess these holes, especially from the view of the first bunker.

Here is my favourite three hole stretch. First is a great par 5 Mucklemouth Meg, 537 yds
The second is perhaps my favourite hole in golf Killiecrankie a 575 par 5. The third is Caber's Toss, a great 319 yd par 4.
Thompson golf holes were created to look as if they had always been there and were always meant to be there.
