I hope Dick Kirkpatrick sees this thread and chimes in. Dick worked principally with Robbie Robinson up here in Canada, but through this association also worked with Trent Jones at Oakland Hills CC on at least one occasion.
I was shocked when Dick told me he remembers running the bulldozer to redo the 5th green at OHCC. And, if I recall correctly, he also remembers a number of greens being rebuilt by RTJ, there.
