Ben,,,,,,,,the 3rd at Firethorn has a neat green complex
but the naturally routed 11th is even better.I also love the
2nd at Kiawah.However,the finest ensemble of par fives by Pete are at The Golf Club. Number 7 flows for 530 yards
over lovely rolling terrain. 14 at New Albany is over 600 and
requires thought, especially on the 2nd and 3rd shots.
I also find Blackwolf River 11 quite compelling.
In my opinion, William Langford was masterful at creating
engaging par fives.
In this regard, the par fives at Wakonda and Lawsonia are
