The club is asking for $4.95 million. Given everything, I'm sure they would take less. But enough less to make it a good deal? That's the question. I've heard there were seven parties that expressed interest in Ravisloe. How far the other six have gone, I don't know.

Steve,  If the potential purchaser is who I think it is, he didn't make his $ doing dentistry. He has a net worth of 300MM. He was a few years ahead of me in dental school. He owns another course in IL and has a spectatacular home at Isleworth. This would be chump change for him-not sure why he would want the headache.             Jack

No, acc. to the guy I spoke to, the 40 guys sold (or at least have a contract) with the dentist. . .  He's going to keep it open on a semi-private or public basis

   Very good thread from historical perspective and the photos are great.  Do you have anymore photos?  A very under rated course IMO.
