Front 9s that finish with a Par 3 (Picture Identification)

While there are relatively few regulation length courses that finish on the 18th hole with a par 3, it is much more common to see a front nine wrap up with a par three.  Below are photos from 10 courses that feature a par three as the 9th hole of the course.  I'll try to put them in order of what I think will be the easiest to identify down to the toughest.  Identifying some of the holes based on the clubhouse in the background will be helpful while some of the routings don't come back to the clubhouse after nine holes.  Naming the last few could be pretty darn difficult is my guess, but I'm pretty interested to see how many of these holes can be identified.  The last few posts I did relative to opening holes should help since they give a solid geographic representation of where I've played most of my golf.

I don't remember which course.... but it has recently hosted either a US Open or PGA Championship (I think PGA Champ) which has a par 3 as the ninth hole!!! Anyone know what course I am thinking of??

Everyone else said Oakland Hills, but Pinehurst #2 also has a 9th hole par 3.

Yes, Oakland Hills has a Par-3 9th, which is a world class hole and something of a signature hole for that course.  Not among these pictures.  The Kingsley Club has a rather infamous three-par 9th.  Also not among these pictures.

I'm embarassed to say that I identified but one of the pictures posted, with a guess on one other.

Kalen, that is impressive buddy!  Spokane CC is rarely talked about at all so I thought it would be a tough one to get but I should have known you know every square inch of the Spokane area.  

And yes, #5 is Black Rock.

Lived in Liberty Lake off and on for about 5 years.  Even though I've never played SCC, I did drive by it a few times and thought the photo looked familiar.  ;D

Is #2 Manito?

Very good Tony, #2 is Sahalee.  Not as famous as the 17th hole there, but a quality hole to wrap up the front nine to be sure.

Would have loved to see a picture of 9 at  Crystal Downs. As good a par 3 as you will see. Very hard to hit. Saw only 1 of 8 shots hit it the day we played in September.    Jack

There are LOTS of courses where the ninth is a par-3.

Speaking for my own courses, both courses at Stonewall have a par-3 ninth.  Also Charlotte Golf Links and Lost Dunes.

I've never had a client balk at that idea; however, I have had one or two worry about the TENTH hole being a par-3, since it's sometimes a starting hole.
