Wow, Steve's first picture shows quite a 'quirky' hole. Melvyn, where are you?  ;)

By the way...no chance of an all spanish final in May in the champions league.
The English clubs are simply too strong...that is not to say two will make it to the final again...
Platini will do everything he can to avoid that from happening.
I went home last month for the United V Celtic game...awesome atmpshere with great seats...Huck...ready for saturday mate!

That was a glorious birdie, John.

But you need to see this green now.  If anything it was watered down as you played it there.

Can anyone besides Huck identify my partner in this pic.  A clue:  He has yet to make a par that day.

Rich Goodale is my partner in this pic from 2002.

Toughest sand shot of my life...muuuuuuuuuuuch tougher than the San Andreas Bunker at PGA West.

I hate GCA butt photos, but this one is from Beechtree and has mayday and Phil B and chip:

Payback for Huck and Simper:
I guess I'm the only one who has photos of Benham in the sh%$

I can only imagine the retaliation.   Mike has plenty pics of me in awkward spots.

Ah, he'd get up and down easily from those spots!!!

Steve, were you in the Benham party when we met at Kingsbarns, perchance? I seem to recall maybe...?

Yes I was.   A very fun trip indeed.  10 rounds in 7 days.  And great fish and chips in Anstruther.

As long as we are posting a few funny pics of GCAers in bad spots, here are a few in my archives:

Dave Neveux in the gorse at Bandon:

Neveux on top of a huge mound at Arcadia:

Did you know that in a pinch a golf towel can be torn up and used to stop a nose bleed? (at Black Creek)

Buddy of mine at Bull's Bay:

Even I get into trouble every now and then but at least I can say I got one of the beach at Whistling Straits:

No I didn't tee it up but somehow my ball actually landed on top a a huge pine cone at Forest Creek:

Brad, were those Sand Hills photos 2002?  We are getting old quick!

Don Dinkmeyer watching my putt, Dick Daley on the camera.  End of April, 2005, Sutton Bay, South Dakota,  Maybe reached 35 degrees for a high, wind blowing like there was no tomorrow off of the lake, snowed later that afternoon.  I believe Jason Topp has a photo of the snow on the green.

Alan Gard in the bunker at Bandon Dunes #12

Alan REALLY has a thing for that bunker

To Alan's credit, he also hits some really nice shots on par 3s at the resort

The Bert / Wall team didn't fare too well at the 3rd at Spyglass.  Here's Wall:

And here's Bert:

John Mayhugh had better luck on the course than off

A really happy John Mayhugh, Jordan Wall, and Bob Jenkins after they ditched me for the afternoon round!
