Here is another hint.

After the course was opened for play on 1986, it received a "Doak 0"

Mr. Montesano,

Not in Ohio or Pennsylvania. South of the Mason Dixon line.

Mr. Nysse,

Not Landfall.

If I'm right, it is a Dye course, but not Pete, and it was one of the first places to try to be like Augusta in name if not in architectural spirit.

Jay,

It is a Dye "collaboration" very much including Pete. You are also in the correct state.

Then I think I've got the right course.  I just checked the club's website, which does say it's a Dye collaboration, but I swear I heard that P.B. designed it and Pete, if anything, just stuck his name on to make the client happy.

Does anyone know for sure?

Atlanta National is the only course I can think of that has a large number of great holes and large number of TERRIBLE holes; almost nothing in between.

Are these some of the better holes? The photos look interesting, they all use angles, granted, the angle is pretty much the same in all three photos.

There are least four different courses combined in these photos. Or else I'm blind.

Please explain how a picture of a green (#9), a picture from the tee (#10) and a pic of another green (#11) equals 4 different courses.
