"I didn't notice it at first because I was looking at the bunkers and the green contours but on second glance it is pretty amateurish - a bunch of repeated waves."
You know SteveK, those three little depressions may be able to be used as three little putting green water hazards. If George Thomas could put a bunker in the middle of a green why shouldn't we have at least one example of little water hazards immediately next to putting green space? I think those three little depressions are quite brilliant but the idiots forgot to plug them up and put water in them. Matter of fact, if the water level was constantly maintained at about 2-3 inches think of the cool options. You could take Rule 26 relief or the other option would be to try to play out of the shallow water. I think golfers might love that----eg they could sort of act like birds playing in a bird bath. I was thinking about another option of teeny little ball sized drop zones but on second thought that seems like a really stupid idea.
