There is 0 chance that Woods wins that golf tournament. 0!! If he does, those guys should all take 2 weeks off and then quit. It would be a joke if he wins.

I don't normally like it when people suggest someone who has won there before, but, I actually do think Immelman could be a good pick and he is crazy enough to win the first two.

If Tiger avoids a WD then I think he wins.

Couldn't agree more. We just talked about this tonight. If Tiger comes back with a bad knee and rusty  to win the rest should just pack it in.

Against my best judgement I'm picking Mickleson. Playing well, putting better and he likes Torrey. Outsider I'm picking Geoff Ogilvy for his second. Maybe even Garcia on recent form :o

I hope Phil wins. But for the sake of being different, I'll go with Harrington. Don't be surprised if the silent assasin, Goosen, is there at the end.

Now that is funny!! If Goosen is in it, maybe he will hit his 1-iron hybrid off the tee on 18 like he did at 13 in Augusta last year in the final round. Mickelson has to be the favorite. The odds on the internet sites are shocking. 2 months off???

Too narrow and too much rough for Padraig.  I'll save my pick for the GCA contest thread.

Sergio, Phil, Ernie...but Tiger shouldnot even enter
Live Jupiter, Fl, was  4 handicap, played top 100 US, top 75 World. Great memories, no longer play, 4 back surgeries. I don't miss a lot of things about golf, life is simpler with out it. I miss my 60 degree wedge shots, don't miss nasty weather, icing, back spasms. Last course I played was Augusta

Kenny Perry would have a chance if he was playing.

Ogilvy should do all right.

It's a shame for Tiger that he had the injury. Although given that he finished 2nd in the Masters when clearly injured and will probably have spent the last 6 weeks working on his short game, not to mention his record at Torrey I just can't rule out him doing something incredible.

However, my pick would be Sergio. Best driver of the ball around, hits it long, great iron player, magical short game and he's putting so much more naturally now.

I'll let the man speak for himself.  He's done it before, at this very venue.  And with Torrey often being his first tourney of the year after a layoff, he essentially does this every year.

"It's not like I haven't been down this road before," Woods said, alluding to his '03 victory in the Buick Invitational after missing two months with knee surgery. "I know what it takes to win a tournament after having a procedure done, and it's just a matter of being prepared, getting all my practice time in, making sure my shots are how I want them, trying to understand what my misses might be.

My money is still on Tiger.

I think Romo (whoever the hell he is) will win but first they have to let him into the tournament if for no other reason at least to see if he can break 80 on a US Open setup.
