I think they are beautiful.

Those are the kinds of features that generate stories about golf matchs that people remember years later. You can't design stuff like that.

yup, I think so too.

And I think that aspect of golf course design at least as important as any other.

The "shot testing" aspect is over-rated: every shot you play on a golf course is a test, in one way or another.

If you're not getting beauty on a golf course, and natural beauty at that, you might as well be playing inside.

A long, narrow, low-ceilinged building should do the trick, shot-testing wise.

Just one final question about you in a D8 and me with my high-powered BB gun.

Do you think I can outrun a D8? If not I figure I'm quite a bit more maneuverable than a D8 with my old USMC broken field running.

I'm pretty good at laying mines in rock outcroppings too.
