Steve Curry and I will be holding down a table late Thursday night at Florida's premier wine bar and cigar emporium, Corona Cigar, nearby on Sand Lake Blvd. off I-Drive. See you there.

I hate to take a pass on the opportunity to blow smoke in the face of a cancer survivor but I'm going to be busy spooning with young boys down at the Newman Center.  Good luck Steve and great to see you back at the show.

I will be hitting the road tomorrow morning. I Will have some time tomorrow late afternoon in Louisville before I have to pick someone up at the airport at 9pm, so if anyone nearby wants to have a beer.....

For those that are planning on Wednesday evening in Orlando, it looks like it will work better to stay close to the hotels for dinner. Maybe we'll steal John Conley's recommendation.

If you sent me a phone number, expect a call as Wednesday approaches. If you want to join the Wednesday crowd, let me know either through here or email, and leave me your cell number. The more the merrier.

Safe travels to all,

Joe

May I suggest someone post the rules for paying the tab to avoid an acrimonious repeat.

A true sign of an old timer...... ;D

Whatever those rules are, we shouldn't need them...but it might be wise, just in case!

The GCA Get Together at the Golf Industry Show has been moved to WEDNESDAY JANUARY 30 at 8:00 PM. The venue will remain The Front Row. There will not be a reserved room but rather group gathering at the bar. Joe Hancock will be your host.

Dang! I have a commitment for 6:00 to 7:30 that night. I will most likely try to get there ASAP

Now all I need is to get the Jayhawk game there.

One more bump, in case someone missed it and to highlight the new details that Rob Waldron graciously posted.

I'll be driving from NC to Orlando tomorrow, so it is unlikely that I will see anything else here before we meet around 8 pm at the Front Row Sports Bar.

Hope to see and meet as many as possible!

No hangover, but was an interesting evening.

It's nice to be able to put a face with the name.

Now that you mention it, I put a young face on an old soul.

If you get my drift.

I meant it as a compliment.

The sagacity of Mr. Hancock's posts here lead me to think he was older than me.... When in fact he's almost 15 years younger.

I happen to like old souls. Whether the body or not.
