Now that's funny! I assumed, Dick, that the project is winding down and you might, rightfully so, have some free time. I guess I was wrong -- what are you working on?

I have another project, we are going through the site plan approval process.
Hope to be building by next fall.
I would rather be pushing dirt than pushing a pencil.

Have a good time at your outing.

Looks like we can expect:

Me.
Ian
Wayne K.
Gerry B
Ben CD
Evan Smith
Matt McKay
Paul Stephenson
Peter Pallotta
Guy Nicholson
Chris Parker

Still uncertain:

Mingay
Philippe

(there are also a couple of non-GCAers who have asked to join us)

Please send me an IM or post here if you're not on the list. I'll call a couple of days before the event to nail down some space for all involved. Usually it is dinner, followed by drinks and debates.

John Gall will also be there too.

I'm hoping Jeremy and Yannick decide to come down.

Robert,

I don't know about Jeremy and will find out tomorrow, but I am seriously considering joining you guys.  It's still on saturday, right?

I'll let you know as soon as possible.

It seems like this is set in stone, but unfortunately Sunday would only work for me.

Hopefully I will see some of you guys soon.

You're a pathetic excuse for a moderator, BCD! Can't even make drinks with the lads.

Indeed we will -- looks like we're expecting between 10 and 15 guys. I'll book us a spot at the restaurant -- the last two times we've been downstairs.

The place is at the corner of Queen and Kingston Rd just outside the Beaches:

1702 Queen Street East
Toronto, ON, Canada
(416) 690-5516

We just had three visitors from Quebec -- Yannick, Mr. Glenn and Philippe confirm. So we'll have a find crowd!

Robert,

Personally I would like to go there earlier than 7:30.

If the three lads from Montreal would like to meet earlier - I would be happy to meet them then.

If I can organize myself on Thursday - there may be an architecture quiz that night - I think I even have an appropriate prize to hand out too.

IA: You are personally welcome to go down as early as you'd like. I'll get there with the lad from Peterborough. But that way you can secure a table and a sensible area to allow the fighting to begin! I'll book it under your name then....

Yannick and I are planning to leave Montreal around noon Saturday, which means we should be there by 6pm.  We'll be staying right next door at the luxurious Day's Inn Resort & Spa...

We'll see you fine folks then.

Ian, if you're there before 7:30pm, give me a holler (you've got my cell #, right?).  Congratulations on the Best New Award, BTW.  Richly deserved, I'm sure.

I've been out west all week; stuck in British Columbia right now, and not sure when I'll be catching a plane back to T.O. (hopefully Friday, at the latest).

I'm going to try to make it though.

I'll be coming from Buffalo and who knows what the border will be like.  I'm hoping that I'll be able to get there around 8pm, but I can't promise anything.

I won't be there by 7:30, but I will be there.

The time depends on a certain 2 year old.

I almost was able to coordinate a visit there to join the group.  My mission to the area is delayed until later.  But, I hope Peter will stand in my place and ask some interesting O.T. questions that should only take a few minutes of otherwise valuable pub and grub GCA scintillating conversation.  Have fun gents!  ;D ;) 8)

Ian Andrew told me he'll be there between 6 and 7. The reservation will be under my name as well as Ian. I'll ask about setting it up in the basement as we have in past instances.

Yannick, Jeremy and Phillipe,

I will be at Murphy's Law for 6:30 on Saturday - my son has a 7:00am hockey game Sunday.

Others:

The quiz is a go - I haven't done it yet - but I will tonight.
I have a limited edition lithograph of Alister MacKenzie on the line for the winner. It will be a visual golf architecture quiz.
