Chambers Bay vs the Collegians

  The Pac 10/Big 10 Challenge was held at Chambers Bay with an eight team field. UCLA won at +15. Michigan State golfer Ryan Brehm was the individual leader at -6.

Here are hole by hole stats for three rounds.

The par 5 13th was the easiest hole each round. Hole which have been extensively discussed here
1st (par 4-498)  +.55 +.41 +.63
8th (par 5-602)  +.30 +.29 +.25
9th (par 3-227)  +.34 +.25 +.41
12th(par 4 304)   +.14 -.30 -.07
17th(par 3 218)   +.70 +.41 +.52

The newly launched Big Ten Network will provide tournament coverage and air a recap show on a tape-delayed basis. Air times are 4 p.m. on Nov. 4 (debut), 11 a.m. on Nov. 6 (repeat) and 10 a.m. on Nov. 9 (repeat).

The weather in Portland was perfect Sunday and Monday, and likely also was in Tacoma.

Pete - thanks for the update and breakdown in scores.  The weather here was spotty both days with periods of rain.  It was mostly overcast with mild temps.

Do you know what tee boxes they played from?  I know they played it around 7400 yeards but I am assuming that they played some of the holes from the middle-back tee areas.

They mostly played from the Teal tees, the tips. They moved up one set of tees on 7 (482 yds), 14 (496 yds) and 18 (541 yds).

The wind was not too bad this weekend (although we had crazy winds in excess of 50 MPH) earlier in the week.  I don't know how the winds were on the coast, but around my home they were approx 5 mph.
