I am pleased to say that PG high as been able to reciprocate to the Scots for hosting our trip of two years ago. We just finsihed hosting a group of 8 Scottish juniors and their chaperones. The group came mainly from Royal Aberdeen but had members from Panmure, Cruden Bay and Monifieth. They were housed by local families. The group was here for 10 days and despite the airlines losing all their clubs and clothes the trip was a success. The clubs came two rounds after they arrived ( The Pebble Beach Company provided loaners for everyone) and the last boy got his luggage the day they left.
Through the generosity of the members of local clubs they played some great courses. The itinerary included Rancho Canada West, Corral De Tierra, The Preserve, Quail Lodge, Pacific Grove, Poopy Hills, MPCC Shore and Pasadera, oh and Peter Hay.
It was great to see the kids get on together and hopefully create friendships that will last a lifetime.
Another wondeful thing about this great game, it can bring folks together from across oceans with a common bond.
Cheers
Stan
