Renaissance Golf website help
« on: April 23, 2007, 12:15:56 AM »
About once a month I check in at the Renaissance Golf Design website to see if there's anything new going on. Like to look at the Current Activities and check out Tom's Diary. Only problem is it seems stuck or not updated since early last year.

When I was in Cabo last July a curious thing happened. I checked the site and there was a whole different and newer update than I could retrieve from the States. When I returned home, I was back on the old page and to this date I get the same page with Tom's last diary entry as April 9, 2005.

WHAT AM I DOING WRONG? I've tried the site on many different computers all with the same results. So, does anybody else get the same result or, Tom, have you not updated your site in 2 years? Something tells me it's operator error on my part. Any help would be appreciated.

Michael, try reloading the page by clicking on the reload arrow on your browser. See if that clears it.

I also noticed a lack of updates on that page for quite a while now, just thought Tom forgot about it or didn't care to keep people updated anymore.

I have been using Firefox as my web browser for the last 2 years or so and when I check out that page the last entry is April 9, 2005.

When I use Internet Explorer the last date is September 30, 2005.

Tommy, what is the last date for you and what Web browser/version are you using?

I've noticed the same thing after checking the site off and on over the last 9 months.

It appears Doak and Co have the problem that many other GCA'ers wish they had... being too busy to keep the site updated.
