Wayne,

I would very much enjoy that and hope to be able to take you up on the trip!

Thanks,
Steve

Steve:
Keep me posted on the Philly trip.  We can add Aronimink to the tour.
Hang in there
Best
Dave

Anthony,

At least it isn't a Corvair, Pinto or Gremlin!  I look forward to a visit.  Yours will be even better with the inclusion of Dave Miller and Aronimink .

At least it isn't a moped. ;)  Tony, would you prefer I drive, your insurance  :-[

How does late Sept. or late Oct. sound to all parties?  We could call it the Anaplastic Oligoastrosytoma Tour. ;)

Hard to even think of golf with a slush covered course that I just walked off, but I can't wait.

Cheers,
Stevo

Late September is more reliable weather-wise though October can be fabulous with the leaves in full color.  It is up to you to decide, Steve.  I will arrange my two courses with a special guest appearance by a man with red clay on his shoes.

Steve,

September or October is good for me, pool or a pond. The home-confinement part of my sentence will be up by then. I'll make sure the "Vette" is primed and ready to go. I'll even make sure the 8-track player is working. Nothing like getting out on the open road, windows down, 52 miles an hour, ABBA playing at full blast... whooo hoooooo!

Steve,
It's best to left AP drive. I drove him around Hotchkiss in a cart one day and he was the worst back-seat driver imaginable. It was a constant barrage of " Drive over here, drive over there, which way is north, let me out, I want to look at that bump, take a left, let me out at the bunker, how far is it to the green from here?, etc.,etc.,etc..  ;)

Jim:

I plead guilty. There was just so much to see. I learned my lesson that day. I just walk or drive myself now. You looked worn out at the end of the day.

It appears  we won't be seeing Hob Nob until July - another storm on the way.

Jim,
Tony my get a taste of his own medicine.  My wife nearly tossed me out of the car on a number of occasions while driving me to my radiation treatments.  She insisted that not one of the drivers would want me in their car again.  But there were a couple who drove faster than I.  ;)
Have you made any arrangements for Hob Nob?  Has anyone checked the historical society?  Maybe there is a Dev Emmet plan hanging around up there. ;)  Or even a score card and some more photos????
Cheers,
Steve

Wayne,

Steve just sent me a message offline saying I could join him for the Philly trip but you told him I had to wait in the car while he played. I cried.

Did Steve tell me a fib?

Actually, I told him you had to leave the premises and time your return with our finish and bringing with you cheesesteaks from Jim's so that we can sit on the terrace with cold Yeungling's.  While we are enjoying nature's bounty (cheesesteaks and beer) you can sit in the car.  Yep, that's about right  ;D

Wayne - Don't forget that we have "take-outs" now !  Have Jim contact Jerry Schreck for "What's Cookin".

Bill,

I hope you're around for the Steve Curry Project's tour of Philadelphia golf in September featuring Roadie 3rd Class Anthony Pioppi.  You're right, Jerry does such a good job, we don't need Jim's to cater our lunch.

Sorry for the pitiful play yesterday, Bill.  That was one horrid display of golf by me  :P  Oh well, the season just got underway and there's lots of room for improvement.  You were hitting a lot of great fairway woods!  George Izett ought to be giving you a staff bag and endoresement money  ;D

Wayne - Wouldn't miss Steve's visit for a number of reasons.  But the biggest is knowing his optimistic approach to licking his problem is thriving.

Keep it up, guy !

Wayne,

Yuengling?!? Holy cow, I forgot all about that. You guys go right ahead and play golf, I'll be filling up the hatch of the Vette with beer for ALL my friends back in Connecticut.
