New Course in Louisbourg, Cape Breton
« on: December 09, 2006, 07:50:22 AM »
This has been getting a lot of buzz up here in Nova Scotia. I'll give the link to Robert Thompson's story on this:

Lots of questions in my mind about this announcement. Faldo as an architect? Not sure. $300 million? That's a ton of money for such a remote spot with such a short season. I wish them luck.

When I was up on CBI, I skipped Louisbourg because were up in Cheticamp.  Now, with a course and the historical attractions, it's a must visit, isn't it...

It's a shame you need "luxury homes" nowadays.  I was hoping this trend would have spared Canada.

Maybe Ran or Ben will comment. The season in parts of CBI is much longer than one might suspect.

Here's another story, from the Halifax Chronicle Herald:

I think this is great news for Cape Breton. The focus on bringing more international flights to Cape Breton is a big bonus.
