Mike, I couldn't resist, it was too easy. Congratulations on the add.

I dont know what is better, Hucks Post of Pebble with the ocean all blacked out or this.

Either way, two of the funniest posts I have ever read.

BTW that looks like a mad party van..!

Superb, Ian!

Could you possibly supply similar ads for other GCA characters?  The ones that would interest would certainly include:

TEP
Signore Mucci
Huck
Barney
HRH Doak
MacWood
etc.

Let me know if you need any help on the copy.

Rich,

Too bad I fly tomoorrow morning, or I would run that series.

I just hope Mike understands it's all in fun, I really think that this was fantastic publicity for his business. I just wish he would smile more. :)

Tom Paul would be fun.....I might have time this afternoon.

I need a head shot........hmmmmmm  ;D

I love it
Live Jupiter, Fl, was  4 handicap, played top 100 US, top 75 World. Great memories, no longer play, 4 back surgeries. I don't miss a lot of things about golf, life is simpler with out it. I miss my 60 degree wedge shots, don't miss nasty weather, icing, back spasms. Last course I played was Augusta

Thanks.

Vis a vis the head shot, just photoshop Andy Willianms and Ben Crenshaw, combine them and VOILA! it is Thomas Edelweiss Paul!

Ian --

I laugh for a living ... and that's the best one I'll have today, I'm guessing.

Rich --

HRH Doak! Another LOL.

----------

I see Mr. Mucci in a gold-and-blue Hummer.

TEP: maybe an MGA (vintage 1962?).

I want Barney in a concrete mixer -- maybe bearing down on the Hummer, with the Hummer bearing down on the MGA.

I have oft gazed upon the Andrew physiognomy with a certain disquieting unrest in my mind. That visage was strangely familiar. His very countenance divine did indeed shine forth upon our clouded hills. Did I know this man?

Today, I realised for the first time, why:

He is quite clearly Alfred E. Neuman incarnate, is he not!?

Okay, a little older and a little longer of hair, but he was clearly the ACTUAL Poster Boy for the well-known magazine figurehead. The kooky, gap-toothed smile cannot be concealed by the tawdry device of facial hair, nor the knowing glint in the eye by designer glasses.

Ian Andrew - MADman... ;D

Danny, Danny, Danny!!!

Firstly, I am not worthy of being associated with Ian's greatness.

Secondly, Barney would never be caught dead in a concrete mixer (although there is always hope.....).  He is an asphalt man, through and through.

Hope of what? Catching him in a concrete mixer? Or catching him dead there?

"Asphalt Man" has excellent possibilities as a title for ... something  -- but what? A memoir? An album?

I know! A comic book, in the Industrial Superheroes series!

And they say that all the good Saturday Night Live skits have been written!

Every last one of you gents have missed your calling.  Comedy, that's the ticket. ;D

Ian,
I love the bus.... you slacker...
Very nice.   :)
I'll say this was rather tame as compared to the ribbings I got from Don and our client yesterday on site.
Even today as our client was driving us to go look at the 15th green, he wondered out loud if Cadillac would be interested in him driving around on the site too....
Cheers
