You know, until now, I had never even thought of the possibility that one reason I like the bonus club so much is that the architecture of the buildings reminds me of The Farm---hhmmm, repressed-memory, subliminal architecture;  definitely a GCA-related topic if there ever was one...

No, although I certainly could have!  I actually drove from Lake Mills and back in the same day to play #14 several years ago.  Later, on the same trip, I drove out to #17 from the city in the hideous traffic.  As you well know, the phenomenon of the "reverse commute" can be vicious when getting to either of these, depending on the time of day..

The massive scale of #17 was a surprise, as were the multitude of other recreational opportunities on the property.

I love the course much more than some, but I think Ansel Adams would have a hard time taking a classic photo of LM's clubhouse!

My lack of answers to the pictures reminds me of the episode of Cheers where Cliff gets on the game show Jeapordy and is totally kicking butt and bets the farm on Final Jeopardy.  The "answer" had something to do with what 3 famous people had in common (or something like that).  Cliff had no clue to the real answer but wrote down "Who are 3 people who have never been in my kitchen?"

My "question" to the 20 clubhouse answers is
"What are 20 or so clubhouses in which I have never entered?"

#17--A little-discussed Ross in Chicago, Exmoor CC, which I believe Ron Prichard has done some work with...The facilities here were phenomenal, and the interiors on the clubhouse were quite grand..
