Brad Swanson

1501st GCA member?
« on: August 16, 2006, 12:46:51 PM »
Can anyone rouse Ran and see if there is room for one more member to GCA.  His name is Lars Patrik Swanson and in his 4 days since birth he has both shown a huge fondness for natural mounds and slept through the entire coverage of the The International at Castle Pines.  I'm guessing both qualities will get him in well with the cognoscenti here.  ;)

Cheers,
Brad

FAN-FREAKIN-TASTIC!

What a handsome lad... all I can say is that your wife must be gorgeous, Brad.  I mean you are a big Scandinavian stud, but the looks must come from her.

 ;D ;D ;D

Very impressive how you slipped this in also.

 ;D ;D

CONGRATULATIONS!  All the best and health and happiness to you and your growing family.

Woo Hoo! Congratulations.

Is he pondering gca or deeper scientific problems?

Scott,
I considered Lars Ulrich Swanson until my wife discovered the connection.  I''m not a huge fan, but like the name. ;)

Cheers,
Brad

Brad,

Congratulations and All the Best to you and your family!

Guess you had to get out of this thin Rocky Mountain air to make this happen, eh?  ;) ;D

Just think--in a few years' time young Lars will be blowing his tee shots right by you...

Congrats, Brad.  My little guy turns 1 today.  I can't believe how quickly the year went...
All architects will be a lot more comfortable when the powers that be in golf finally solve the ball problem. If the distance to be gotten with the ball continues to increase, it will be necessary to go to 7,500 and even 8000 yard courses.

Imagine the confusion of the Euros, when Lars Patrik Swanson, born in Madison Wisconsin, as the youngest member in history of any American Team in the Ryder Cup, in the year 2020, tees it up at Erin Hills as a home town/State favorite!     :o ;D

And, brings the stretched out from 8500 yard to 9000 yard venue to its knees, whilst his caddie and swing coach Dad, shows him how to hit the really long ball. :P ::) 8)

Congrats to Vanessa and Brad, a really cool couple. ;D

A "mini-me" if I ever saw one - he looks just like you!

Congratulations!! I'm sure he'll be a long baller, too!

Looks like he's a member too. (That or Mettalica's drummer added a surname and has an interesting in golf courses).

Check out the newest member on the title page.

Congratulations Brad, how soon before he's teeing it up at Lawsonia?  I say two years, tops.

Lars my boy (a Newbie indeed, making Jordan Wall seem ancient by comparison...  :P),

Now that you've been officially welcomed onto GolfClubAtlas.com after 9 months' probation, I'd
say it's about time you stop sleeping and
start posting! For example, stop that crying about
Rees Jones and Tom Fazio that your Dad says happens
every few hours and tell us WHY you feel this way.

Doug, you gotta change the profile.  He was 'almost' Lars Ulrick, but Vanessa's finer sense of meter changed it to Lars Patrik.  We couldn't have the lad being mistaken with Earl Eldrik, which will be the name of the golden child of Cabla-Swedish heritage, once that one comes along...  ;) ;D

I can't wait to see Patrik and Eldrik tee it up together...  ;) ;D

Where in the H-E-L-L did I get Ulrich?

Thanks Dick. I changed it "unofficially" above--Tommy
will do the official honors. From what we've seen
of Dad Swanson's game, Lars Eldrick would have
been just fine... ;D
