Are NY area courses open on Mondays?

In the south most of the private clubs are closed on Monday. Given the limited season, are they open in the northeast?

  Most clubs be closed, except those that have outings  :)
I know BB is closed on Mondays as well, for the most part, but is sometimes open.  Call the number-PM me if you need more info--but Bethpage Red is always a good play if you can't go private.

Outings aside I think its club specific as to whether member play is allowed. It can't hurt to inquire at a place you would like to visit.

Bethpage Black, as mentioned, is closed on Mondays. Yale is generally open.

Do those in Philadelphia???

Winged Foot, Baltusrol, and Ridgewood all are generally not open, save for an outing, but if none, are generally available in the late pms for member play (sans guest).

Hudson National is the only one I can think of, they are closed on Tuesdays.

Tiger, Gil Hanse's Tallgrass Golf Club is looking good.  Walking okay on Mondays, $45 green fee.

Hidden Creek near Atlantic City is open on Mondays but closes on Tuesdays.
