Is it just me...?
Or does the Creek offer no real strategic value to this golf hole.
I feel it could have been much better employed - perhaps as a more obvious crossing hazard or as giving stronger visual clues as to the best, or better, angle of attack to the green.
It appears to me (insert 'Mucci-declaration' here) that it only really punishes a poorly hit or chosen drive (or three, Mr. Goosen!)
Maybe if they created a wee bit of fairway over on the left hand side and chose a pin position or two to encourage even the small strategic choice of going that way, I'd be more impressed.
Missed opportunity for me...
