I am so sad to say re: Mark Brown

He was found dead today.

As founder of Links Magazine and Prestwick golf (12 holes golf courses), he possessed the true spirit of the game.

He was a great man. This is a sad time and a great loss for the game we all love.

A wise man once said that you could measure a man's success in life by the number of people who mourn his passing.
He also said that mourning is a blessing for both.

We've been very blessed on this site.

So very sad, the man was on the cutting edge of filling that void the people on this websit try to fill...the need for constructive, intelligent conversation on golf course design...a sad loss indeed
