Just like everyone else has said.  WG is a great setting that looks like it has not changed in decades.

Paul et. al.

It does look like it hasn't changed, but it has!  The most northerly holes (3-5?) were built in the early 80's to replace some taken away to build a road.  It was an excellent renovation.

we played WG in a downpour.  it was misting as we were warming up on the putting green.....and it came heavy as we were walking to the third tee and lasted until about 11.  an unforgettable round of grinding bad weather, rain dripping off the bill of your cap golf.  i loved every minute of it.  the terrain of #5-8 is as visually daunting of the tee as you're gonna find....it looks like it's moving.  #7 is a great hole.  i got it up and down off the slope left of the green!

as others have said: i'll go back to WG everytime.  and the food at lunch was outstanding.
