Pat,

I see what you're saying, the back left corner would have to be built up as well. Understood.

I had interpreted it to mean that it could slope left to right and fall away over the back through the length of the green.

The original Redan front bunker is about 6 feet deep. It used to be much deeper:

Don't get me wrong; I like the idea of your drawing and the thought of having the hole play infinitely different.  I was thinking yesterday what a neat shot it would be straight on,  trying to hit the approach and have the ball hold the green.

I know you weren't being critical for the sake of being critical. More trying to put a peg on just how people define terms like Redan and Reverse-Redan.

Without a "title" for the hole, it should still work well.  :)
