Orlando Meet and Greet, Jan 26-29

So far we have Turboe and the travelling Lichtensteins interested in a GCA convention. An undisclosed party will be making a cameo appearance at the show as well. Anyone else who may be interested in a gathering, please post your date preference here. I will finalize arrangements as interest grows.

John:

I'll be at the show -- however -- my only availability for dinner / drinks is either Wednesday or Thursday nights -- preferably for Thursday if at all possible.

Be interested to see who else attends since last year's event went quite well.

With a crowd like this we may just need a tee time.

Let me bump this up on the board for a Friday afternoon tour. If interest doesn't pick up, we'll just wing it without any formal arrangements.

At this point it seems there is very little GCA attendance at the show. Unless there is a sudden spark of interest, I see no need to make any further plans.

Matt & John,

There is a chance I would be available for dinner or drinks Wed or Thurs night.  Not sure at this time.

I am also trying to get ahold of Adam Messix if anyone knows how to call him.  Or if you see this Adam check your email and call me.

Turboe:

I'll be doing lunch with Mike Young on Thursday -- simply let me know if you would like to join us.

You can reach me via IM thru GCA and I can reply pronto.

Adios for now ...

I know it may have been talked about already, but anyone know a couple of courses in the area, say an hour or 2 north or south of the convention center, good for some college golfers at the show for the week? (private, public, or resort)

M. Shea, World Woods fits your requirements to a tee.  90 minutes (?) NW, really good golf on two courses.
