Yes, I'm quite sure I don't mean Glen Head.


Then you may want to recheck your sources, it was Glen Head that was Women's National.  They are one, and the same golf course.

The land for Glen Head/Women's National was purchased in 1921, the golf course opened in 1924.

In 1941 Glen Head/Women's National merged with The Creek.
In 1942 golf ceased at Glen Head/Women's National, but, the land remained intact.  In 1948 the golf course was reclaimed and re-opened for play.  It remains today mostly as it did during it's early years, and bears the name, "Glen Head"
