David,
We played the course with two couples from Arizona.Everyone thought the golf and the development were excellent.Prices for property and memberships are mid range.
The area has rolling hills, pine trees, streams and small lakes and is quite attractive. The homes are set back from the course and screened by about sixty feet of thinned pine trees.
No homes directly face the course, all are screened.I have never seen this before. It works quite well as the homes are brown or gray and blend in well. The course is routed through
the natural terrain with no evidence of massive earth moving. Natural hazards such as streams and ravines are utilized well..Bunkering is dramatic.
The town of Show Low is two miles away and has adequate services. It is three hours to Pheonix,Tuscon, or Albuquerque.
