Bernhardt's Ass-- A sight for sore eyes.
« on: April 15, 2005, 01:51:08 AM »
I had the pleasure to play a long overdue round with Mr. Berhnardt earlier this week.  John was not only looking and playing well, but was strong enough to carry me to victory over Messrs. McBride and Davidson.

I usually try to stay away from OT-threads and ass pics, but thought this an appropriate exception.

excuse my ignorance if it's obvious, but which course is this?  I like to guess but I'd rather know.

Bob; its impossible to explain some of the clutter that gets recalled from the attic between my ears. .  (SL Solow)

You guys are more than a little nice. I do not think I ever heard the word ass and my name in the same sentence without it being led by the word FAT! My coach used such lovely expressions as hey fat ass move it along even when it did not apply in the strict sense of the word. Tom, I missed you as well. I hope we can play again soon. John

John,
Nice to see you back on the links. I'm pretty sure DM used his photoshop skills to impose Tom Lehman into that first picture though. ;) Great looking swing. 8)

Ed:  GREAT CALL!  That is too funny... I looked at that finish and thought Tom Lehman also....

OK, someone also simply MUST tell us.  Wind conditions, status of match, what David M. did on #16.  The world needs to know.

If that last picture is at CP, I sure can't figure out where. It looks like Spyglass.

I'm with Ed. That's a Spyglass Hill checkered flag and it looks sort of like the view from behind the sixth green back toward the ocean.

John, great to see you, thought you were Hagen at first.
May your new swing prosper. And beat up on our replacement North Texas, or is it Appalachian State?

Ed and Brent,

Sorry, that's the 4th green at Cypress looking back.  The 6th at Spyglass doglegs too much to see the ocean from the green.  The first part was my initial hunch.  I confirmed it and the 2nd part from the aerials (had to, haven't played Spyglass).   :)

I think photo #1 is the 2nd hole from beyond the fairway bunkers.

Tiger is definitely on the mend, 99% at least.  He (1) hit #11 in two with a fairway wood; (2) hit #14 with a long iron  8)  and (3) hit a driver onto the 16th green!  8)

Great playing, solid shotmaking.  Geaux Tigers!

I had the pleasure of playing Spyglass (NOT the course pictured) on Weds with Senor Bernhardt.  Just a great day.

Thanks JB.

PS.  He informed me he now needs new golf clothes, but I don't think you'll be seeing that blue CPC jacket on eBay anytime soon :)
