Hidden Creek - Good News and ........
« on: April 13, 2005, 05:52:07 PM »
The good news is that Bill Coore has indicated that he'll be participating in the symposium of our get together and will be at Hidden Creek for the duration of the event.

Breakfast will be available then the program will begin.

Roger Hansen, the founder and guiding light at Hidden Creek will speak about his involvement, from concept, through construction to completion.

Bill Coore will then speak on his involvement from agreeing to sign on with Roger to the analysis of the property and the design and construction of the golf course.

Jeff Riggs, the Superintendent will then speak about his initial and ongoing involvement with Hidden Creek with a focus on maintainance practices.

Each period will involve a Q&A session.

Lunch will follow the presentations with a round of golf in the afternoon.

Cocktails and hors D oeuvres will follow.

The likely date will be MONDAY, May 16.
There is a possibility that the course might be available for play on Sunday afternoon as well.

Details and a final agenda will be posted as well as the cost of the event.

Hidden Creek's new clubhouse opened TODAY.

Those interested in attending should post accordingly.

I think the combination of speakers, attendees, golf course, Hidden Creek's special atmosphere and attentive staff will make this an outstanding event.

I look forward to seeing all of you.

Patrick,

In order to prevent any conspiracy theories that I am avoiding your outing so that I will not have to wear Notre Dame green to the event, I am letting everyone know that I will be in Florida that weekend and Monday!

If the date should move, I would love to attend.

Thanks

Neil,

I hope when you come down to the Hidden Creek event you'll consider taking a side trip to Philadelphia.  It'd be good to see you in our neck of the woods!  Look forward to seeing you.
Best,
Wayne

Live Jupiter, Fl, was  4 handicap, played top 100 US, top 75 World. Great memories, no longer play, 4 back surgeries. I don't miss a lot of things about golf, life is simpler with out it. I miss my 60 degree wedge shots, don't miss nasty weather, icing, back spasms. Last course I played was Augusta

Pat--

If the date is Monday May 16th, I would like to attend.  I'm sure this event will be as enlightening and interesting as the Baltusrol gathering last year.

Thanks.

Mike Sweeney,

There will always be room for you, especially clad in your blue and gold, "Irish" best.

Details and an agenda will be posted shortly.

For those interested in staying overnight on Sunday or Monday, the Atlantic City Casino/Hotels are about 20 minutes from the front door of Hidden Creek, and the Atlantic City International airport is about 15 minutes from Hidden Creek.

I'm a definite maybe. :)

Family events over the weekend mean Monday is better for me, just not sure if I'll finish in time Sunday to head over at a reasonable time.
