Adam,
What course in Florida doesn't have some hole like this?
I'm am guessing a Nicklaus course for what reason I don't know.  Any more hints?

Mike,
I doubt Adam had a camera at that elevation above any course lately either.  ;D

P.s, my guess is Louisiana?

Sorry to disappoint everyone, but I don't know what course this is. I am however pretty sure it is neither Stadium or Oyster Bay.

I found this picture on Ebay.

There appears to be some website Reciprical.com, that allows you the privledge of membership reciprosity, for a mere $350 ish. Down from $1,750 What a pity.

How do dues paying members feel about this?

99.9% sure it is Turnberry Isle, in FL. It is not a club, but rather is part of a resort. I don't know why the hell you'd pay what you're quoting, since you could play for cheaper (and get a nicely appointed room taboot).

Doesn't look like the south course at Turnberry...

I had assumed it was that island green in New Mexico.

Go figure? Who cares?  What was the point Clayman?

Joe - you'r right, adam can't jump that high.

Cheers

I'm guessing it's in Japan.

I had assumed it was that island green in New Mexico. Not the one at Towa. The island green at Towas has square bunkers completely surrounding it.

Go figure? Who cares?  What was the point Clayman? My objectives were two fold; 1) To find-out what course this is. and, 2) To see how good "we" are. I'll take Sean's word for it being TI.

The gold star to Tom Davis. It is the 8th hole at Grand Haven in Palm Coast, Fla., a private Nicklaus design at the Palm Coast Resort. A late friend of mine used to manage the resort. I played the course once. I'd call it a "typical 90s Nicklaus course," not as severe as his work in the 80s but with many of the typical features--left to right shots favored, wide landing areas, waste areas and some water. Some strong par 4s. Middling on the Doak scale IMO.

Ocean Hammock nearby is much better.

Grand Haven is pretty good.  Like Ocean Hammock without the ocean.

And Doug, I haven't forgotten!!  GREAT win for the Wildcats.  Really helps Minnesota in the quest for the Rose.
