And not for the better, I fear.  While most of this thread is at least somewhat critical, it is a discussion of the courses and the GCA, rather that insults about how hard someone tries, etc.  

The tone of the other thread currently ongoing about Hills is unfortunate and detrimental to this site, IMO.  Hopefully, that is attributable only to one person, and his manners may improve at some point.

Shooter,

I liked the Arthur Hills course at Palmetto Dunes.
granted it was 1988 when I worked there,but the course was different than most newer courses (that I was aware of) with the exception of Pete Dye's work.
I haven't been there in a long time and no doubt I've seen and learned a lot since.
I wasn't crazy about The Dunes at Seville considering the land and opportunities surrounding it. A few great holes though
