Very poor shots and the season hasn't been great in Southern NY.

The "let's keep more trees on the golf course thread" ???

Funny nobody posts pictures of the wonderful white pines that line many fairways in the NE.

SBERRY  where are your pictures taken?

Here's a newsflash for ya Corey.  Some courses actually have trees that don't come into play! :o  And guess what, they turn pretty colors in the fall that are pleasing to the eye and make nice photos! ::)

Keep me informed when the clear cut of Sleepy Hollow is completed. ;)

Cheers,
Brad

When it comes to fall colours, the shots taken by Ran of the Cape Breton Highland Links course are unmatched. It is so difficult to pick out a favourite as almost every hole is just spectacular in colour. Check them out:

I can't decide between holes 5 thru to 8.

Thompson golf holes were created to look as if they had always been there and were always meant to be there.

Okay Brad...I'll see your Fall colors and raise you a few Ohio-an versions of my own!

These shots are courtesy of my bride, who snapped these photos for me while I played the back nine at Kirtland Country Club.  Not too shabby, eh?

Lovely Photo's, a wee bit of fairway widning would do that course wonders.

Here is one I liked.  Par 3 192 yards slightly down hill over a creek.

It's Crumpin-Fox 45 min north of Springfield MA near the VT border.

If your ever near there make sure to play. It is very very highly recomended!

This is the only time of the year I miss the NE.

I'm sure it's just a coincidence that this time of the year also happens to include the World Series.

From 2006...looking back up the first at Greywalls.

And now, from 2007, the view from the championship tee on #1:

That last shot was taken about a week too early for the full color effect, although it seemed in Northern Michigan this year that the colors were not consistent at all.  You can see in the lower shot that there is some green, red, and some trees with no leaves left at all.  Strange year.

Its about time you contributed to this thread Brian! ;)  Man that 1st green at Greywalls is a trip.  I can't think of any other green I've played where I miss the green more often than I hit it from 60 yards.  I hope we can have a few rounds together up in Marquette next year.

Cheers,
Brad

And a few more, this time from Crystal Downs:

This one might conjure up some scary memories from the 11th:

And looking back down the 13th from the 14th tee:
