Steve,

I think I can make it to your Lederach outing, Steve, that is if there is room.  Having met Kelly several times, I look forward to playing my first round on one of his courses.

Wayne,

Excellent.  I'm glad you're going to make it.

Now, if can get get Sully, Tom Paul, Mike Trenham, Craig Rokke, Jason Mandel, Dr. Bill, Jamie Slonis, and Pat Mucci, we should have some lively discussions.*

* Yes, I'm calling you guys out.  My apologies to any of the usual candidates I may have missed, but my brain is getting old and I'm sure we'd love to have you.

Looking forward to seeing you, Mike, and nearly everybody else  ;)
We have to go over to Philmont together sometime this year and take a good hard look.  Of course I'll have to go in disguise  ;D  I hope some of the Philly area guys you mentioned can make it as well.  They will make a lively discussion livelier.  We can waste an entire day trying to convince Mike Malone that Merion is at least half as good as Rolling Green and Winged Foot West belongs in the top 1000 courses.

Steve, how far is all this from DC, and is anyone from down here making the trip?

Andy,

It's about 10 minutes from the Lansdale exit on the NE extension of the PA Turnpike.

Or, put another way, it's about an hour short of Glenbrook.

Just think, a chance to debate the merits of Poconos golf with Matt Ward in person.

One has only so many chances for such an opportunity during a lifetime.  ;)   Hope you can attend!  ;D

Steve, thanks for the IM. I mapped it after I posted, and I had been hoping that maybe Lederach was south and west of Philly and  perhaps it wouldn't be too bad.  But it's just going to be too far, especially by my lonesome. :-\

Mike, that is a very tempting carrot you are dangling.  You jest, but the chance to put faces to many of your names is a strong inducement. As is the chance to play what looks like a fun and interesting course.  Good chance we will be in Philly before the Summer is done though.

(PS Didn't get the chance to try Galen Hall--sick young 'un--but it looks like it's right up my alley)

Andy,

If Craig Disher is back from his travels, it is likely he'll be coming up for the event.  I'll try to get him to contact you.

Steve,

This looks like its shaping up to be a very fun outing.  I was away most of last week and am just getting back into the swing of things.  I'd say I'm 60/40 right now on being able to make it.  I should know better in a week or so but if there is still room then I'd really like to play.

Steve - Hoping I am still on the list. Also, some nice watering holes in nearby Skippack for a possible gathering after. Recomend Park Bistro or Pasta Bella. - Sean

I also recommend Ludwigs Inn and Restaurant just down the road.

We can also use the "private" room in the clubhouse. There is food  and drink available. There is also a nice outdoor area overlooking the 9th and 18th holes. I'm sure there will be many questions for KBM.

I may have two additional media guys joining Lowell and myself. I should have the names by this weekend.

Leave me now as a foursome.

Thanks ...

Ludwigs Inn?  That's about 2 miles from my house, but it's not very close to the golf course.

Dan,

Totally correct....I was getting it mixed up with Stonewall.  It is only 10 minutes from Stonewall not Lederach... ???

For those unfamiliar with my warped sense of humor, the Seminar is not for real...except for the pink shirt part. ;D

We're here to play golf and experience Lederach and good company and hoist a few afterwards.

Steve,

My wife has given me the green light. Next I shall work on the Philly friends. They tend to be last minute guys, so let me know if this is a problem.
