How come no one ever posts photos of golfers with big grins on 'Burgh golf courses?

Because the one course they would take photos off leaves so few people smiling.  Grimacing yes.  Smiling no.

A very GRACEful ex-contributor here just sent me this photo from 2004.  VERY interesting to see how the vegetation has been scraped away.

Yes Mike, the whole damn lot, or we will hound you till you do! ;D

George, the smart one in that bunch is Slag, because he keeps himself so scarce that he becomes that rare commodity. ;)

Just having fun posting pictures on this otherwise lazy afternoon...

Name this hole.  Note it is appropriate to post here for reasons beyond the depiction of fortunate golfers with shit-eating grins on a great course.  These are four of my college buds, btw.

Name that hole.

Either Whistling Straits #4 or the first par 5 on the back nine at Kingsbarns?

It is indeed #12 at Kingsbarns.  Hell of a golf hole.  And yes, as an altitudinally-challenged myself, I do tend to look after my homeys.

Mike and Huck

I will be out in your neighborhood this winter to pick up the chicken dinner.  I am holding you to it.

Coming out to see my beloved Stanford Cardinal basketball team.  My daughter attends there now.

I will warn you in advance and see if we can find time to hit the ball.

Bill

PS  Whatever happened to the Ogden brothers????

Bill - it will be our Bronco pleasure to pick up the chicken dinner tab.  Let's keep in touch.  With a daughter at Stanford I think it's the least we can do to defray your costs.

 ;D

Long live Ralph and Bud, not to mention Dennis Awtrey and of course Kurt Rambis and St. Steven (Nash) of British Columbia!

And don't forget Reggie Theus' cousin Londale Theus...

Excellent Bronco knowledge.  Of course that one is always used in a negative sense... as great as Londale was - and he was great - it's always "why do we get the COUSIN and not the man."

 ;D

Thanks Mike for the link.  It is a nice contrast to what is out my window today.  And, therein we find La Nancy, the obvious better half of the Scotish doubles.
