Funny, but the indian logo at some clubs is better than at others.  I particularly like Seminole's indian logo.

Interestingly, Muirfield (HCEG) doesn't have a logo or merchandise.  I got a ballmark, I think from a small help yourself honor system room at Greywalls.  I also believe some of the shops in Gullane sell similar things with an 18th century golfer in sillouette.

Are there other clubs without a logo?

I really like ANGC. Although it suffers from over exposure.

As mentioned previously Burning Tree which is a evergreen on fire.

Dunes   (Michigan)
Secession
Honors
LA CC
Merion
Chechessee (the feather w/ flagstick as feather's spine)
Lookout Mountain
Palmetto GC
Creek Club
Machrihanish  (oyster catcher)
ANGC  (members logo which is not often seen by me other than in April)
R&A   (members logo)

The simplier the better, with preference for no writing, is my cup of tee.

Plus others to be added later after looking through shirts in  Hostilo's closet.

Far and away the best logo around is Merion's.

I like the logo's you see that you have no idea what course it's from. No name, no tag line.

What does the ANGC members logo look like? I take it it's different than the unbiqutous yellow america/green flag.

Winged Foot and Merion are both great simple and to the point but for true understated cool Newport is tough to beat.

John,

Are you referring to the attached as opposed to the TV version that has the USA yellow? The patch below is currently for sale on Ebay for those of you desiring your own ANGC jacket.

The TV version

Merion is my favorite logo of all.  We have Bill Kittleman to thank for it.

I like the simplicity of the scallop shell of Kittansett and Panmure.

Prestwick's is a classic with its crossed clubs and 3 balls.

Gulph Mills with the Drexel Paul Cup and club is, like the club itself, an understated but elegant design.

I agree with an earlier post that Newport CC has a terrific logo.

I also like:

Friar's Head
Sand Hills
Swinley Forest
Winged Foot
Brookline's squirrel
Royal St. George's with the dragon being slayed by St. George

Bill V:  I still do not believe that the HCEG have an official logo.  They have a nicely stylized monogram on one of their keep out signs, but I think that is all.

Wayne - You're right, the Muirfield logo (or inscription) is simply a wildly cursive "HCEG"

It appears on the letterhead of this declaration:

I must agree with Lahinch. I played there on Christmas Eve -around 40 degrees,40+mph winds, occasional sleet and rain. The sight of two goats looking out from the shelter set in the dunes as if to say "What are you crazy?" was a living, breathing version of a logo.

I like both the NGLA and Cypress logoes.

So there, Dave.

 ;D

The less related to golf the logo is and the less verbiage it has, the better I seem to like it.

So Merion works for me also.

The ghostly figure on the Perranporth logo could be The Grim Reaper, but the cross makes me think it could also be St. Cristopher.

All this talk of Merion.  Does anybody have an image of the logo?
