Even for Augusta?

Jeez, 3-4 hours of golfing bliss vs. the 30 seconds it would take to.....

Scott,
IT would take much longer than 30 seconds to properly fasten the restraints, wouldn't you say?

You're brave to admit that, Ted.  I tried to do the same with my buddies and they called me a homo.

 ;D

People can call me whatever they want.
It really is a no brainer for me.

Ted - oh same here - sticks and stones, you know.

I just do get into some very interesting shit battles.  It tends to happen on bus rides on golf trips... or at the 19th hole.... best to be well-armed with all possible ammo, that's all.

Better question:

You've never played Cypress, but God taps you on the shoulder and offers you your choice of a romp with Salma Hayek or the chance to play #15, 16, 17 at CPC.  Which do you accept?

CPC - no brainer.

That is a good question.  And normally I'd go for the golf in a no-brainer like Ted.  But in this case, I gotta go with Selma... for the reason being that I feel certain I have a one-shot chance with her...and she is at perfection level right now... whereas Cypress lord knows I will have another chance at, and it ain't going anywhere nor getting any worse.

BTW, you are very generous in your assessments of the time factor.  You are a married man, right?

Salma Hayek - no brainer.

Spoken like an ace golfer who's probably played just about everywhere.... :) Not that I don't agree with your choice.

Nice to see people are finally listening to me about Wolf Creek.

Mike, you'd fit in great with most of my friends.  I was like Ted, most of my friends were like you.

I really do love playing this game.

all I know is that it's a beautiful thing where this thread has gone....and for those who know how, keep posting those pictures!! ;D ;)

Paul,

As you requested.

You know, the funny thing is that people who aren't looking into this thread are probably watching it grow rapidly, thinking that we're in here battling over which course finished 45th versus 53rd! ;)

The woman  :-* it has to be.

Add some degree of consequence to the equation and it gets tougher for me and probably Cirba as well.

ie: Name your top 10 woman choices and a romp with any one of them forfeits your chance of ever playing one of your own top 10 golf courses, or vice versa and I probably choose the golf.

shivas:

Hey, it's logical, man.  ;D

And PUH-LEEZE.  You KNOW how you could make Cypress happen, it's just a matter of how low you allow yourself to stoop.  You are kidding NO ONE with this.  Are you next gonna tell me no GW raters have ever gotten comped at Pebble?   ;)

As for Selma, no offense my friend but methinks you have more chance getting a putter onto the 16th green at Cypress in one shot from the tee than getting any sniffs at her.  But I do admire the bravado.

Of course put in the qualification you wanted to re this being a one-time for sure never go back thing, and I'll go with Cypress than you very much.  Yes I do love playing this game, especially on great courses.  I can also pretend any woman is Selma, and keep my eyes closed if necessary.  Kinda tough to do that with a golf course.

 ;) ;)

2005 state rankings are posted.  Neither Penelope nor Salma qualify.   ;D  Apache Stronghold is #1 in Arizona.

Huck, I knew you would puss out with the 'ol "I might get another shot at CPC" angle.  Unfortunately, Ted is such a homo  ;D  ;D that he didn't even need to think about this and answered so fast that I couldn't go back and add "and you'll never have another shot at either ever again" to the hypo.

BTW, without the hypo, I'd go with CPC because I figure I have a better chance of melting Salma's cookie than ever getting on CPC again!

I would be quite comfortable being the biggest homo on this board if we are using the love of golf over sex as the determining factor :o)

Maybe it comes down to this. . .
Throughout my life I've had the pleasure of being with a bunch of really gorgeous women, and I haven't played that many really outstanding courses. I always felt like I had a shot at a beautiful woman while I never really saw myself as someone with the access to the more exclussive private golf clubs. Beautiful women didn't have the same "untouchable quality" that the Fishers of the world have to a middle class, muni, guy like me.

Whoa... these are great questions.

But man, it comes down to this once again for me:  I have a very good imagination, and have no issues with closing my eyes during sex.  LOTS of women have great bodies.  Hell my 41 year old, two kids along wife is at the very least in the same league as these women here body-wise... or at least I think so...

It remains difficult to imagine that any course is PV, or Augusta, or Sand Hills, or whatever.

So this is if anything an even easier question for me.  I'm willing to forego Selma just for the right to play CPC one time.  Forever banning me from these other great courses?  Please.  Money and a little balls, if not a good imagination, can get one women that are at least a very decent comparison to Selma and these others.

And I do have a firm belief I'll someday get to those courses.

Ask me this question 10 years ago, and it would have been a no brainer "I have no hope of ever playing anywhere like that, so damn right give me the broad in hand."

Things are a little different now.

 ;D ;D

But I bet shivas is referring to Eva Langoria.

Ask the question again with this follow-up question in mind ...

You have had Selma (or CPC) for 30 minutes ... you have reached your nirvana ... which would you like to do again?[/i]

Ps:  I would prefer Catherine Bell ... I do love long tanned necks ... (as my wife would attest to).

"... and I liked the guy ..."

Mike, Selma Hayek or Augusta?

Kyle makes a VERY good point, one I was alluding to with my "money and balls" comment.  Lots of pretty damn equivalent women can be had at the proper price.

No amount of money can get one on most of these courses.

And Mike B, another great question... jeez this is getting deep... I have no good answer for that one yet.  I do commend you on the Catherine Bell mention though.  Yowza....

And onther thing . . .
I've been VERY disapointed with the sex I have had with some beautiful women. I am pretty sure that I could name 50 courses that I'm sure wouldn't disapoint me. There is a lot more to sex than how she looks . . .I'd bet there are a TON of gorgeous women who would be absolutely pathetic in bed.

I'll take a round at Fishers with 3 of my best friends over a romp with any 20 of the hottest women around.

-Ted

With that being said, T Hatcher is unbelievably hot!!!!!
