Clearly I have the hole numbers mixed up, but I have a score card in the other room to help. I just have to dig it up!
I'll nver forget the feeling I had when I saw the first hole. It was like, "I never knew in my life that MacKenzie could design anything so severe like this!"
Brian, Rich, might be able to back me up on this, but the down hill 14th or 15th? (picture #4) to me was slightly representitve of #12 at Augusta with the wide and shallow green over a hazard, only quite a bit more severely down-hill. Another hole I liked was either 16 or 17, which had a "Nose" bunker in the center of the fairway. I'm sure its in these pictures, I just don't see it clearly. (Maybe the last picture?)
Superintendent is a really good guy and he loved to talk about MacKenzie. He also had just taken delivery that day of some brand new Toro equipment, so I'm sure he was really happy because of it!
