Wow..... Thanks for posting that link.  Those are some amazing photos.  Not only are there terrific shots of Ballyneal, but some unbelievable pictures of NGLA, Oakmont, and Sebonack as well.

Larry --

Do you guys laugh when you say that?

Or just smile, knowingly?

Merry Christmas.

Hah! I can't speak for the other guys, but I think I do both.

Happy Holidays to you, too.

Larry,

Thanks for the site.  Beautiful pictures of a beautiful place.

Those are some of the finest photographs of NGLA I've ever seen. Really great stuff and thanks for sharing. -Dan

Yet another - Thanks for sharing!

Thanks to Lambrecht and others (Aidan!) who allow us to enjoy the visual pleasure of these creations.

Meeting Larry was a real pleasure. His enthusiasm for Ballyneal was quite evident by how much time he spent on property.

Here's a couple of before and after photos from another great photog. Dick Durance.
I've posted them before, but for those who missed it, here's the eighth hole from behind the green looking back.

If anyone knows how to get a Windows Picture and Fax viewer image uploaded to Mystic, I'll post one sent to me of the eighth hole, looking up at the green from before the Sahara bunker, shortly after hydroseeding.

I see that Maidstone has been added to the Larry Lambrecht link shown in post #1 (in addition to Ballyneal, Sebonack, Oakmont, NGLA and Ireland).

In the Maidstone slide show, there is a wonderful set of images of #14 (a par 3 near the coast I presume).  The first shows the hole in full bloom (summer) and the second shows the hole hibernating under a blanket of snow.  It is a lovely comparison, perhaps superior to 'black and white' for showing what the ground does without the colour highlights of the turf and bunkers.

I have not even looked at the photos yet, but I the anticipation is awesome.

14, 8, 9 at Maidstone are proof there is a God and he approves of golf.
