How do you explain the devoloution of a bunker.  

Loss of rake
A combination of whats good for golf and good for turf.

I'm still mortified what you and I saw the other day.

Complete devolution, complete breakdown with no maintenance. It explains a lot why you can go out to a site of a place where a old course use to exist and not find a noticiable feature

It was great to see you and can't wait for you to get back so we can play.

I think a big part of it is the change in public perception. Bunkers are now not viewed as a challenge to the player, but as an annoyance to "ruin" your round. I saw a commercial today that put it roughly in those terms. I wish I could remember the exact wording. It as an ad for a new GPS device, SkyCaddie? They really emphasized negating all hazards, especially bunkering.
Does this futher advance the devolution?
