I've heard good things about this little 9 holer on this board...

Unfortunately I also recently heard that the course was bought by a Flordia developer (City of Honolulu's lease is expiring soon) and will be closing in a few months. I'm not sure if it will become an NLE or will be "renovated" as part of a development. In either case, it likely wont be anything close to what it is now. It's a shame, I really wanted to see it.

Does anyone have any further information on this?

Kahuku is the 9 holer way up north near Turtle Bay Resort

I think the one you are referring to is Moanalua which is the oldest course in Hawaii.

Anything on the north shore should be specifically for big wave surfing.....

Back on topic if you dont mind  ;) but I called the starters shop at Kahuku and they said they should know by end of November whether or not the course will be NLE.

I'm really hoping its not - I really wanted to see it - if you do a search on it and read some of the past threads there are many rave comments...
