Hijacked threads....
« on: April 05, 2006, 03:51:10 PM »
Mike Benham has a perfectly good point.

The thread started by Jeff Fortson on Cypress was a delight as were the reminicences of many others.

All of a sudden it was hijacked to include some stuff on the Champions League football games. I confess, I was sucked into it and made a four word response.

I would like to suggest that if a submission is tangentially removed from its original subject.... start a new thread.

I am the one to blame for that and offer my sincere apologies to the creator of the CPC-thread for hijacking the discussion.

Will be more careful in the future to make sure that my posts doesn't take existing discussions in totally new directions that are clearly off-topic.

Suggestion noted, Bob.

Hey,

Did you guys happen to see that UCLA/Florida game the other night?

Man..I was really surprised at the outcome.   As far as B'ball, give me a good defense (Larry Brown School) and I think you can go all the way.

But noooooo.....

Oh wait...

Oops.   :-[

Couldn't resist, Mr. Huntley...my apologies  ;)  ;D

As an aside - individual posts can be deleted by the poster.  So that CPC thread could be cleaned up by the off-topic posters by individually deleting their posts.

Bob Huntley,

Would you explain to Tim Pitner the moral of the story of the Policeman who's being questioned by the defense attorney of the defedent who's accused of drunk driving ? ;D

I hope all is well in sunny California.
It snowed here today.

Ahh, to be in Monterey and playing golf.

Pat,

That should be in Law 101.

After 35 days of continuous rain and a mini monsoon early this morning, the sun is shining this afternoon and tomorrow looks good as well.
