Of course I can't speak for Mark A., as to what week he might be able to do this. Right now, I'm only going by what he has previously said were possiblities for late April, early May. I now have 7 folks that have raised their hands as a show of interest.
TD, mid summer won't work because there are membership obligations and it puts way too much pressure on Mark, as he obviously must be fully attentive to members at that time. But, having an archetect or two involved with some side time to tramp the vast property, as Mark suggested, looking at the routing possiblities and constraints, would be a great deal of fun for some of us. Although, some others have already said that a morning or afternoon of doing that, and not actually playing an 18 hole loop in a multiple loop day was not what they would be interested in. I think you know where I stand on that! By the time we're done, they'll have 36 more potential holes!!!!
( really do think from what I have seen that they have maximized the property features at highest-best routing)
Rich, I just spoke to Dan on the phone, and he told me the fall plans. I think that separate itinerary ought to be pursued as a smaller band of roving prairie schooners, in which I'd be interested to go again. I make the prairie run spring and fall each year anyway.
Ed, Sutton would be about 14-15 hours drive from Green Bay, just about the same as the ride out to Wild Horse at 13.5-14.
