New private club in Little Rock.  From the pictures it seems to have the usual Fazio Characteristics.

The photo gallery was pretty interesting.  Apparently they have a single member (guy in yellow short), they are very proud of their carts, all holes play downhill overlooking the valley, and there is nicely maintained creek running through parts of the course.

Also, apparently the owner or photographer is from the porn industry as many of the same pictures/scenes are used over and over again in the picture gallery.

As an Arkansas resident, I mentioned this course in a thread  about  a month ago, along with some comments about another high profile course that has been built by tTyson..of chicken fame.

The Alotian, is a very high dollar affair, located on some wonderful property just outside of Little Rock, some of the vistas are quite beautiful, but yes it is another "typiacl" Fazio layout.
I am not going to be one of those that slam Mr Fazio for his usual look, as obviously many people spend alot of money for his expertise..

The course routing is well planned, to make the best use of the elevation changes that really are the hallmark of the golf course.
The fairways are generous, but have clearly been built in a manner that enables them to be pinched in for certain events..whatever they may be.
The fairways have a tremendous amount of undulations and as such not many even lies, clearly the owner has an "Augusta National" idea in mind, they have tried to get that AN feel about the place.
The usual number of unfair greens, which from my experience appear on every TF course, but overall and enjoyable golf course.
Everything about the club is top notch though, no expense has been spared, excellent practice facilty, caddies very knowledgable, and trained by the Augusta caddies..choice of range balls that you desire..all of the nice touches that we as golfers like.

The Tyson course near Fayetteville, designed by Trent Jones, called The Blessings, is another story altogether.
This course can be a brute, but is a really enjoyable golf course with some beautiful holes, the architect has done a great job here..for a longer description, check out my comments on the ...forced carries ..thread from a few weeks ago.

Just because the ocurse is a TF DESIGN,which I know amongst some on this site is almost a curse word, dont be to eager to slam the Alotian, it is what it is a very exclusive golf club designed for its exclusive membership ,and M r Fazio has done his usual efficient job of creating a nice golf course.

Michael Wharton-Palmer ,

What do you find that is unfair about some of these greens?
