Except one of them is from Yorkshire....

Bunkers, if they be good bunkers, and bunkers of strong character, refuse to be disregarded, and insist on asserting themselves; they do not mind being avoided, but they decline to be ignored - John Low Concerning Golf

FBD,

Thanks for the laughs.  I especially like the one with you in the Desoto.
What does it matter if the poor player can putt all the way from tee to green, provided that he has to zigzag so frequently that he takes six or seven putts to reach it?     --Alistair Mackenzie--

martin ....it's not that i am underwhelmed but if you came over here i would see you properly wrapped in a great kilt ,sans that neo philabeg....make you first make ,then wear some gillies [or pampooties if thats your style] out of leather scraps , make a proper sporran to carry your balls and we could then share my 1780-1830's play clubs and proceed to dram and dreg ourselves into a silly state of harmony.....if you are game ,i would love to extend an invitation to a grand opening this july 3rd where we can do just that....fireworks ,  indians , colonials, brits and scots , beachmusic and golf .
[other GCA invites going out soon ][daryl micheal sarge TP wayne et who ever]........ :) ;) :D ;D >:( :( :o 8) ??? ::) :P :-[ :-X :-\ :-*

NP,
I believe it is a Latin inscription reading:

'Cave, hic Beastium Cagit'

which translates (roughly) into:

'Beware, Caged Beast within!'

(Okay, maybe not - it looks like writing but is merely a Celtic border design...)

 ;)

I have been to Scotland lots of times and nobody wears kilts. When Ireland play Scotland in Dublin, the city is jam packed with Scots wearing kilts. Do they store them in the airport?
