Wentworth Club, known for its steep $225,000 membership fee and $20,000 annual dues, not to mention the $464 green fees during peak season, is reportedly in the crosshairs of the Saudi sovereign wealth fund.

The club, established in 1922, is famous for hosting the BMW PGA Championship, a highlight of the DP World Tour calendar.

He also mentioned rumors of interest in Berkshire's elite Sunningdale Golf Club, adding, "And they are interested in buying Sunningdale. Now that is more of a rumour but Wentworth.."

I think it is possible to buy Wentworth as that is 1 owner, near impossible to buy Sunningdale as that is a member's club.
