Only reason I'm thinking about Lost Lake is that they are having the pre qualifier for the Puntacana event there and I wanted to see how it fits my game.
Know anything about Champions Club of Summerfield?

Champions Club has had some conditioning issues, so I’ve stayed away the last year or so. Not sure if they’ve improved.

If The Park is a possibility for you I’d prioritize that over everything else.  It’s a great golf course, lots of very interesting and fun holes.
So bad it's good!

Played Streamsong Black today, really enjoyed the course. Really easy walk, loved the diversity of holes.
First time I ever played a Gil Hanse original (I know I’m behind the curve lol).

And the lobster/shrimp roll at the turn made the day perfect !

Streamsong Black is a very bold design. Huge scale. I kind of liked it better than the Red personally.

There are a few old threads on this from 10-15 years ago. Worth a lookup,
Kyle Harris was always a good source for interesting, unpretentious affordable stuff.

I used to play many of the out of the way old "alleged" Ross and ODG guy munis/semi privates(Lekerica, Lake Wales, Cleveland Heights, Brooksville CC, Bartow GC, Ocala GC) during my supposed trip to the PGA show, as well as a few struggling moderns,
including Sugarloaf Mountain, World Woods x 2, El Diablo and The Dunes, Deltona, Victoria Hills.
Always highly affordable with basic conditioning and no frills operations.
Lately I have been stopping en route to Orlando at  Palatka GC, a cool old DR course but it was conditioned pretty rough this past January-heavily overseeded with rye that I fear may leave it quite bare when that burns off in May,

Much of the Florida world has moved onto to fancier, pricier toys, augmented with the derigueur flashes of sand, and often an insistence on a jump suited escort at many places.
Different strokes I guess.
I hope a few of the lower key ones are still functioning.

I'm heading back down in October, I may try to play Palatka again. My brother and I tried to play there about 7 years ago and it was so humid that we sweat through our clothes by the 3rd tee. At that point we adjourned to a local watering hole for cool drinks!
