Jason Day makes dumb remark after 4 th round
« on: July 23, 2023, 08:19:11 PM »
Something to the effect on his death bed, he will be dreaming of this round. Not going to sit well with the English folks next year.
Live Jupiter, Fl, was  4 handicap, played top 100 US, top 75 World. Great memories, no longer play, 4 back surgeries. I don't miss a lot of things about golf, life is simpler with out it. I miss my 60 degree wedge shots, don't miss nasty weather, icing, back spasms. Last course I played was Augusta

I took it differently. I think he meant something like, "Today might not have been very fun. But I know a day will come when I would trade anything to be able to play a round of golf, even if it were on a day like this. So I'm trying to look at it with that kind of positive, grateful attitude."

“I’ll tell you what. On my death bed I’ll probably be praying for days like this. I’m not too displeased with the weather over here,”
Sure doesn't seem like a dumb remark, actually sounds pretty complementary all things considered.

No where to go but up from a death bed.

I took it differently as a well. He was -2 and finished tied for second.
